Baboon Valley is situated in the Neelum District of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan, at an elevation of approximately 12,700 feet above sea level. It is a serene destination, surrounded by breathtaking mountain ranges and picturesque landscapes.There are two main routes to reach the valley:

  1. From Kutton: A route through Jagran Valley leads to Khillun village. From there, a 3-hour hike takes you to Baboon Top.
  2. From Keran: This jeep track passes through Nagdar Nala and reaches Jabri Meadows, followed by a 2-hour hike to Baboon Top.

Both routes require a 4×4 vehicle, as the terrain is rugged yet incredibly scenic.

The best time to visit Baboon Valley is from May to September when the weather is pleasant, and the valley is accessible. Heavy snowfall in winter often blocks the roads leading to the valley.
